Position Title: Senior Director, Policy, Research & Analysis
Location: Remote based
Reports to: SVP
Compensation: 140K-180K+ Bonus and LTIP

We’re looking for a seasoned Health Policy leader to for a Senior Director of Policy, Research & Analysis with a consulting company focused on Market Access, Pricing and Reimbursement and Value Assessment & Analytics. In this role, you’ll work directly with pharmaceutical and biotech innovators bringing breakthrough therapies to market, helping them navigate complex federal, state, and commercial policy landscapes and make high-impact strategic decisions.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of policy, strategy, and client advisory, with a particular focus on Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Medicare Part D, 340B issues, and national drug policies. This is a growing team, and the company has a strong position in the marketplace. Their leadership team is a group of renown subject matter experts who are in the trenches with their clients and serving in a project leadership capacity, leading high impact engagement across the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will have:

• Real influence: Advise senior executives at leading pharma and biotech companies on policy issues that directly impact pricing, access, and reimbursement.
• Policy depth + business impact: Translate evolving Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and state policy into clear, actionable guidance that shapes commercial outcomes.
• Leadership opportunity: Lead multi-disciplinary teams, mentor rising talent, and help grow client relationships and new business across the firm.
• Front-row seat to change: Work on some of the most consequential policy developments in U.S. healthcare, including IRA implementation.

What you’ll do
• Serve as a trusted policy advisor to clients on drug pricing, coverage, reimbursement, and benefit design across public and private payers
• Lead and advise on IRA strategy and negotiations, including manufacturer engagement and pricing provisions
• Monitor and synthesize federal and state policy developments into clear insights and client-ready deliverables
• Lead project teams, manage client engagements, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
• Build and expand client relationships, contributing to new business development
• Mentor and develop managers and associates on your teams

Qualifications

What you bring
• 10+ years of experience in pharma, biotech, consulting, policy, advocacy, or a related organization
• Deep expertise in U.S. health policy, with strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer dynamics
• Hands-on experience leading or advising on Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) negotiations
• Credibility with senior client stakeholders and the ability to translate policy complexity into business strategy
• Advanced degree preferred (MPH, MS, MBA, PharmD, PhD), or equivalent experience
